Live Projects
Projects related to restorative justice and it's response to the lapses of Criminal Justice administration in Nigeria and across Africa. Our causes presents a visible and positive approach to implement a cognitive and permanent solution.
Restorative Justice for Africa(REJA) was set up as a structural response to fill the gaps in the Administration of Criminal Justice in Africa. These life projects will focus on drastically improving the Nigerian Criminal Justice System and they will address issues such as the living conditions of custodial centers, the health and welfare of inmates, training of Correctional officers and Law enforcement agents, and equally ensure separate facilities for adults and children in trouble with the law (juveniles), as well as other necessary welfare interventions.
Through these projects, we hope to achieve humane conditions in correctional facilities for inmates, improve the menstrual hygiene of women behind bars, put an end to the remand of children/minors in the same custodial facilities as adult offenders, improve the service delivery of law enforcement agents, reduce criminal re-offending and ultimately solve the problem of chronic overcrowding across correctional centers in Nigeria.
