Summary
This project works on the alternatives to imprisonment by decriminalizing petty offenses so as to decongest the Prisons. This project also works with the communities to ensure that restorative practices are extended to victims as well as offenders.
To achieve this, we are working closely with the Nigerian Correctional Service, the Nigerian Police, the Ministry of Justice, the Judiciary as well as other Stakeholders, Community Organisations and Civil Society Organisations.
I wanted to thank Ausra for the haircut she gave me, I was very pleased with it, as was everyone that I met with today; it turned in to a great day of never-ending compliments!
