Restorative Justice for Africa Initiative was recognized and awarded the Innovators awards in Global Affairs in October 2022. This award was received alongside other prominent awardees like Dr. Punit Renjen, CEO of Deloitte Global, and Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, former Director for European Affairs for the National Security Council.
Four other young and dynamic organizations/companies were also considered for this award ceremony in NewYork, USA, in the categories of Communication and Civic Engagement, Environment, Governance & Institutions, and Human Rights; and we were selected under the Human Rights category.

We are proud of the giant strides we have made as an organization and we dedicate this win to the people who have been most affected by mass incarceration and human rights violations.
